Ukraine has its own aviation systems that allow for laser targeting to carry out strikes.
Ukraine will be able to continue striking enemy targets in Russia and on occupied territories even without intelligence data from the U.S.
This was stated by Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi, Deputy Director of a Ukrainian electronic warfare company and aviation expert, on the air of "Kyiv24."
"Statements suggesting that we won’t be able to strike with precision weapons on certain targets either in the Russian Federation or even on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are not true. The fact is that we do have certain aviation systems of our own that allow us to perform laser targeting for strikes," the expert explained.
"Yes, there is an issue with the United States; we see such powerful swings in terms of whether there’s help or not, whether intelligence data is provided or not. Sometimes it seems like they're already sitting in the White House in Red Army's "budyonovka" caps. But we need to understand that we actually have all the necessary capabilities to build our own systems, to gather our own data," Khrapchynskyi emphasized.
In this context, he pointed out the role of OSINT (open-source intelligence).
"We are actively helped in this by even Russian public channels, which publish any information on their Telegram channels. This information can be selected, analyzed, and used to provide certain intelligence," said the expert.
