The russian occupiers indicate that the reason of the spread is through food.

In Russian-occupied Mariupol, 17 cases of acute intestinal infection were officially confirmed for the first time. Half of the patients are children.

This was reported by Petro Andryushchenko, the city mayor's advisor.

"The occupiers indicate that the cause of the spread is through food. Despite the simultaneous statement that there is no epidemic threat, the data themselves indicate otherwise," he said.

Residents of Mariupol are urged to be careful with their health: boil water, do not use expired products and wash hands.
