According to Musienko, when the enemy realizes there are serious threats, such as being targeted by the Patriot system, they will be more cautious and refrain from flying missions.

Ukraine is expected to receive 2-3 Patriot systems soon. And this can reduce threats to Kharkiv after today's insidious Russian attack.

Military expert and Director of the Center for Military and Legal Studies, Oleksandr Musienko, stated this on the air of the telethon.

"We are expecting to receive 2-3 Patriot systems soon. In general, we need seven Patriot systems, those that can counter ballistics, but now it is about getting 2-3 promptly...Germany, Romania and the Netherlands have agreed to fund these systems, though the specific supplying country remains unnamed. This will provide us with three batteries. The fourth system will be the SAMP/T. The challenge now lies in the delivery schedule and training our units, which will take time. But here the situation has shifted from this dead point... This is the answer to the question of how to counter such strikes. The supply of such systems, the deployment of them (with risks, of course), in order to detect planes and shoot them down," the expert says.

Musienko believes that once the enemy realizes they face serious threats from the Patriot systems, they will be more cautious.

"They will stop flying missions, I think. This will reduce the threat to Kharkiv," he concluded.
