The Ukrainian President believes that the implementation of this plan will force the host of the Kremlin to think about ending the war.
The so-called "victory plan," which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will present to U.S. President Joe Biden this month, does not consist of many points. However, each point depends on Biden's decisions, not on Putin's.
Zelenskyy shared this during the annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy.
“I’m not sure I can share all the details, as I gave my word to President Biden. But the plan is indeed strategic... This plan is about Ukraine, about our soldiers,” he said.
President Zelenskyy noted that he sees it as a positive aspect that the plan has few points, and each one depends on Biden’s decisions rather than Putin’s.
“I can’t guarantee that this will 100% stop Putin, but it will make Ukraine stronger and push Putin to think about how to stop and end this war. In any case, it will strengthen Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. The plan is very straightforward, with very clear packages. It’s more than we have now, but it will be enough,” the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
