The occupiers drop no fewer than 120 aerial bombs per day.

During the first week of May, the aviation of the Russian occupation forces dropped around 900 guided aerial bombs, with a peak daily figure from May 3 to May 4, reaching 134 guided aerial bombs.

Military-political analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko disclosed this information.

He says that the overall average for the use of guided aerial bombs remains at around 120 per day.

"The most intense location for the use of guided aerial bombs remains Donetsk region, especially in the areas of villages and settlements such as Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove and Tarasivka. In recent days, up to fifty launches of guided aerial bombs have been recorded in this area per day," the expert explained.

The Russians carry out regular strikes with guided aerial bombs in Kharkiv region, although with less intensity than in Donetsk region. Mainly the targets of the strikes are Kharkiv itself, Pischane, Verkhnya Pysarivka, Stara Saltivka, etc.

"It all comes down to the question of saturating the line of combat engagements with air defense systems capable of intercepting carriers of guided aerial bombs, primarily the Su-34. As of the beginning of May, no significant changes in this issue have been observed," the expert noted.

According to Oleksandr Kovalenko, another solution to the problem could be systematic and effective strikes on the locations where carriers of guided aerial bombs, such as the Su-34, are based, or on depots containing aviation bombs and even UMPK (Universal Module for Correction and Planning).

"However, the systematic nature of such activities has not yet been observed. I hope that given the urgency of the issue, the key word in this statement is “yet”, the military analyst concluded.
