Kryvyi Rig Emergency Services Have Beeb Working All Night Long to Curb the Flooding in the City: What’s Going On at the Missile Strike Site (Photo)

The water level in Inhulets river was decreased by 13 centimeters.

The emergency services have been fighting all night with the consequences of Russian missiles strike in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro Region. The first responders and utility engineers attempted to curb the flooding started after municipal hydrotechnical structures were hit by Russian cruise missiles, as Valentyn Reznichenko, the Head of Regional Military Administration, reported.

Due to attack, the water level in various parts on Inhulets River has raised by 1 – 2 meters.

"By this moment, the water level was reduced by 13 centimeters and continues to decrease. The first responders and emergency services continue to work on site", Reznichenko noted.

At least 112 private houses and yards were flooded in the city. People were evacuated from water areas.

"Several waterways were damaged in the missile strike. Almost 5 000 consumers in Sofiivska community are left without water supply. The emergency repair operations continues", Reznichenko posted.

Based on the most recent data, Kryvyi Rih was attacked by Kindzhal and Iskander missiles.
