Ladyzhyn Thermal Power was shut down on November 23rd following Russian missile strike.
In the Vinnytsia Region, 18,000 people are still cut off from heati supply due to the shutdown of the Ladyzhyn Thermal Power Plant following Russian missile strike against Ukrainian critical infrastructure on November 23rd, as Serhii Borzov, the Head of Vinnytsia Regional Administration, reported.
"After the missile strikes on November 23rd, Ladyzhyn TPP was shut down. It was the only enterprise supplying the town of Ladyzhyn with hear," he said.
According to Borzov, the State Emergencies Service deploys heating points in the city. Meanwhile, the military administration is looking for ways to provide heat to residents of Ladyzhyn as soon as possible, in particular ,by solving technical issues related to operation of alternative boiler station.
The Head of Vinnytsia Regional Administration noted that the funding had been already allocated, however manufacture of special machinery units required time
According to Borzov, the evacuation of Ladyzhyn residents is currently not considered by local authorities.
