Russian invaders have started to announce “results” of so-called “referendums” in the temporarily seized parts of Ukraine.

The number of people who voted at the sham referendum in Luhansk Region is approximately equal to the number of eligible voters ten years ago taking into account hundreds of thousands of evacuated people and emigrants, as Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, noted.

"Everyone is almost not surprised with the results of this sham expression on unfree will that has lasted for the last several days. Thousands are outraged, but only few are surprised. They can draw any figures and count empty or incorrectly filled pieces of paper in any way they like. I don’t think these pieces of paper can be even described as bulletins”, he emphasized.

According to him, when whole Luhansk Region voted at the elections of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine in October 2012, there were 1,829 million people on the voting lists.

"Now we have 1,662 million people brought for voting. Since the claimed voting turnout is 94%, we have 1,768 million people entitled to vote, but had no right to express free will. I mean provided the catastrophic annual negative difference between birth rates and mortality in the so-called “LPR”, the holders of this sham referendums claim that during these years the population reduced only by 60 thousand people", Haidai reported.
