The highest children casualty count has been documented in Donetsk Region.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian troops have killed 361 children in Ukraine and injured 711 more minors.

These disturbing figures are reported by the General Prosecutor’s Office.

"Over 1072 children have fallen the victims of the full-scale Russian aggression. As of the morning of August 15th, 2022 official children death toll remains the same - 361. The non-fatal children casualty count, which is over 711, also has not changed. The highest total casualty count among the children has been documented in Donetsk Region (375), Kharkiv Region (198), Kyiv Region (116), Chernihiv Region (68), Luhansk Region (61), Mykolaiv Region (60), Kherson Region (55), and Zaporizhzhia Region (40)”, the report reads.

These figures are not final, since the law-enforcement officers are working to verify the casualty counts in the active combat zones, Russia-controlled and liberated territories.

According to the General Prosecutor’s office, at least 2328 educational establishments have been damaged by the Russian shells and bombs, including 289 schools totally ruined by the invaders.
