Currently, Putin is actively working on a "political war" in those countries that he wants to attack in the future.
Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin is preparing the ground for war with the Baltic states, Moldova and Kazakhstan.
This opinion was expressed by Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
"Why do the Russians necessarily need to fight in Ukraine? They are actively working on political, and not only political, preparation for war in the Baltics. They are quite active in Moldova as well. We have seen an increase in activity regarding Kazakhstan lately," he believes.
The official suggests that Russia can exit the mobilization stage and return to a peaceful economy, but only if the leadership changes.
