According to analysts, the Russians are looking for an opportunity to push out Ukrainian units across the entire stretch of Ivanivka-Terny-Yampolivka-Torske.
The Russian occupiers have intensified their activities on the Lyman front near Terny.
This was reported by the OSINT monitoring project DeepState.
According to the channel's information, the Russians have created a foothold on the Zherebets River and are pressing toward the village of Ivanivka on the Lyman front.
"For some time now, the enemy has been increasing pressure in the direction of the village, creating a foothold and, through continuous infantry pressure, is gathering forces in the area near the settlement with further advance," the message states.
DeepState reports that the Russians are pressing near the Zherebets River and seeking an opportunity to push out Ukrainian units across the entire stretch of Ivanivka-Terny-Yampolivka-Torske. The most intense pressure is being applied on the first two villages – Ivanivka and Terny.
"In Ivanivka, the Russians have seen an opportunity for advance, and they are certainly trying to implement it. The most concerning development will be the Russians' ascent to the heights just beyond the village, so Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold and pushing them back, thwarting their plans. This section deserves attention. The battle continues," the channel concluded.
