Thousands of Ukrainians were left without electricity in their homes.
On the night of June 20, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on energy facilities in Ukraine, injuring seven workers.
The aftermath of the Russian shelling were reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
It was noted that the Russians struck a number of energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions. The shelling caused destruction and equipment damage.
"During the attacks on two energy facilities, seven workers were injured. One of them is in serious condition," the Ministry of Energy reported.
Due to the night strikes, thousands of Ukrainians were left without electricity. In particular, power was lost for 218,000 customers in 427 settlements in Vinnytsia region. By morning, power had been restored to all.
7,273 customers in 10 settlements remain without power in Kyiv region.
