Russian Troops Hit a School Building Used a Civilian Shelter in Donetsk region

Russian troops continue to annihilate educational establishments in Donetsk Region.

In Mykolaivka, Kramatorsk Region, Russian invaders shelled a school building used as civilian shelter. The attack happened on Wednesday, September 28th, around 05:00 a.m. Based on preliminary data, the invaders used S-300 missile, Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported.

According to him, 12 civilians, including two children and one disabled person, were hiding in the shelter during the attack. The invaders precisely targeted the school building. The building walls collapsed in the explosion.

"Luckily, the shelter withstood the impact, and there were no casualties among civilians. We still have no information regarding one person who worked at the school. The emergency services continues search and rescue mission. The invaders demonstrate unlimited ruthlessness and cruelty: this school has nothing in common with any military facilities. The civilians were hiding there from the hail of Russian shells regularly fired towards the town”, Kyrylenko reported.

The Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration once again addressed the region residents and urged them evacuate to the safer parts of Ukraine.
