"Scorched earth tactics": The Ministry of Defense explained the consequences that blowing up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station will have for Russia

The humanitarian result of the explosion and flooding of this area is actually a scorched earth strategy.

The Russians postponed the active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after blowing up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

This was revealed by Deputy Minister of Defense, General Pavlyuk, in an exclusive interview with journalist Andriy Tsaplienko from TSN Tyzhden.

According to him, the occupiers are complicating our movement in this direction.

"Even now, during attempts to evacuate the population from that territory, all our boats come under fire. That is why we have appealed to our partners, to the UN, requesting assistance in the evacuation of people who have been in a critical environment for several days. They need to be rescued," Pavlyuk explained.

He also noted that the humanitarian result of the explosion and flooding of this territory is actually a scorched earth strategy.

"In all the territories where Russia has been and stayed for a long time, those areas are uninhabitable. All the populated areas where it has passed are essentially destroyed," Pavlyuk explained.

He predicts that in the coming years, until the hydroelectric power plant is restored, there will be neither arable land nor industrial recovery.

"They have cut off their water supply to Crimea. In other words, the supply of water to Crimea is completely eliminated by this sabotage. Russia has already started using man-made disasters as weapons. Therefore, we do not exclude any negative actions from Russia because these people have no conscience, no honor, nothing. They are simply beasts released from their cages. They will do anything until they are crushed," he added.

Pavlyuk summarized that only through collective efforts can we stop and drive this "creature" back into its "cage."
