Russian forces carry out intensive infantry assaults in Donetsk region and have increased the number of airstrikes on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Serhiy Tsehotsky, officer of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk, announced this on the air of the telethon on February 27.

The fighter reported that the situation is tense on the front where the 59th Brigade fights. Enemy shelling does not stop.

"There have been infantry assaults (from the enemy side) throughout yesterday and today. Yesterday, they were in slightly larger groups, today – in slightly smaller ones: about three to four people. The reason is their “cannon fodder” is running out. But the intensity remains," - Tsekhotsky said.

He added that the number of enemy airstrikes on Ukrainian positions has also increased. The occupiers drop guided aerial bombs.

"We are doing everything to stop the enemy," the officer emphasized.
