The blast wave damaged a hotel and over 10 apartment buildings
Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, hitting a civilian infrastructure facility. As a result of the attack, five people were injured.
This was reported by Oleksandr Vilkul, Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, and Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Vilkul stated that a missile struck a civilian infrastructure facility in Kryvyi Rih. The blast wave damaged more than 10 apartment buildings.
"Thank God, everyone is alive. Five people were injured, none seriously," the statement reads.
Lysak clarified that the injured included a 10-year-old girl, women aged 62, 83, and 84, and a 70-year-old man. The child is in the hospital, while the others will recover at home.
In addition to the apartment buildings, a hotel (from the first to the third floor), four educational institutions, four cars, a pharmacy and some shops were damaged in Kryvyi Rih.
Vilkul also reported that the city's aid headquarters (for building materials and applications for financial assistance from the city) was being set up at School No. 103 (formerly 23 Kostenko Street). All emergency, medical and public services are working.
Public transport has been temporarily halted on the section from Svyatohoriivska Street to Domnobudivnykiv Square. Tram routes No. 2, 5, 7, 9, 22, 25 and 27 heading towards Kryvyi Rih-Main Station are being redirected at the Heroes of ATO roundabout. Tram routes No. 9 and 14 are operating between Kryvyi Rih-Main Station and Domnobudivnykiv Square.
