The Russians have carried out another treacherous attack on the civilian population of Ukraine and its cities.
During the night of July 18, the Russian occupation army once again launched a treacherous attack on the south of Ukraine. Several waves of attack drones were directed towards the detection and weakening of the Air Defense Forces.

Attack on Odessa
The occupiers launched six "Kalibr" missiles on Odesa from the Black Sea waters. All the missiles were destroyed by the Air Defense Forces.
However, the fragments of the destroyed missiles and the blast wave caused damage to the port infrastructure objects and several private residences. An elderly man was injured in his own house and has been hospitalized.
Also, 21 enemy "Shahed-136" drones were destroyed on the approach from the sea in Odesa.
Attack on Mykolaiv
On the night of July 18, around 01:50, the Russian army attacked Mykolaiv with drones. The occupiers hit an industrial facility, resulting in a fire outbreak. The fire was promptly extinguished by firefighters, and there were no casualties.
Four Iranian "Shahed-136" drones were shot down in the sky over Mykolaiv region.
Additionally, according to Vitaliy Kim, the Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, in the early morning of July 18, at 07:37, the city of Ochakiv came under artillery shelling. The details of the aftermath are being clarified.
The Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, emphasized that the night Russian attack on Odesa and Mykolaiv is another proof that the terrorist state aims to endanger the lives of 400 million people in different countries who depend on Ukrainian food exports.
"I thank the Air Force for its effective work. The world must understand that the goal of the Russian Federation is hunger and killing people. They need waves of refugees. With this, they want to weaken the West," he said.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy launched "Kalibrs", probably from the Russian frigate "Admiral Essen", and the "Shahed" drones were launched from the Chauda training ground area in Crimea.
The Air Force has destroyed six "Kalibr" missiles, 31 enemy attack drones "Shahed-136/131," and one reconnaissance UAV using its forces and means.
"The cruise missiles 'Kalibr' and the majority of kamikaze drones were destroyed in the south - in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, while the remaining attack UAVs were neutralized in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions," the statement reads.
