The occupiers have turned their attention to garage cooperatives, which they are selling for 400,000 rubles.
The Russian occupiers continue to illegally sell the property of Ukrainians in temporarily occupied Mariupol. This time, they have turned their attention to garages.
This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.
“It’s not enough for the invaders to seize the “ownerless” apartments of the city's residents. Now they have turned their attention to garages. In particular, one of the so-called “realtors” recorded a video from one of the garage cooperatives,” the City Council stated.
In the video, the “realtor” shows and discusses the garages that have been damaged by the occupiers, some of which have remained intact after bombings by the Russian army.
“The cooperative occupies a large area and includes about 500 garages. While you look at their condition, I will talk about the financial aspects. The membership fee is five thousand rubles per year. This money is necessary for the restoration and maintenance of the cooperative. The cost of a good, intact garage is approximately 400,000 rubles (120,000 hryvnias),” the so-called “realtor” explains.
