Offensive actions are ongoing in various areas of the front in Donbas.

Recently, Russian occupying forces achieved minor successes in Toretsk, Donetsk region, and also advanced southwest of Donetsk and north of Vodyane.

This was reported by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Geolocation footage from September 18 shows that the occupiers advanced along Tsentralna Street in the eastern part of Toretsk. Additionally, Russian bloggers claimed further advances to the north and west within the eastern outskirts of the city. One "military correspondent" also asserted that the invaders advanced in wooded areas southeast of Toretsk. However, ISW found no confirmation of this.

The Russian occupiers continued their offensive actions near Dachne, Nelipivka and New York, as well as in Oleksandropil and under Toretsk toward Shcherbynivka, and near Chasiv Yar, around Stupochky, Bila Hora and Klishchiivka on September 17 and 18, but did not achieve confirmed successes.

Reports indicated that the occupiers continued advancing southeast and east of Pokrovsk. However, this was unconfirmed. Russian bloggers and so-called "military correspondents" claimed that Russian forces crossed the Zhuravka River westward within Hrodivka and in the northern part of the settlement, as well as to Hoholia Street in the northeastern part of Selydove and to the northern outskirts of Hirnyk.

Furthermore, another Russian blogger continued to claim on September 18 that Russian forces allegedly captured Hrodivka and were conducting a cleanup of the city. However, ISW found no confirmation of these Russian claims.

On September 17, the Russian occupiers continued their offensive actions in the area of Novooleksandrivka, Novotoretske, Zelene Pole, Vozdvizhenska, Hrodivka, Krasnyi Yar, Novohrodivka, Orlivka, Selydove, Mykhailivka, Mykolayivka, Marynivka, Zhelanne Pershe, Ukrainsk and Tsukuryne on September 18.
