A fire broke out in one of the city’s districts.
On April 22, during the day, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia. Reportedly, there were casualties.
This was reported by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Medical teams are on their way to the scene. Preliminary information indicates there are injured,” Fedorov said.
It was later confirmed that two people were wounded. The injured were transported to the hospital.

Horrifying footage emerged online showing the exact moment of the Russian strike on a residential area in Zaporizhzhia.
One killed confirmed
Later, the regional administration confirmed that the Russian attack claimed the life of one person.
“A 69-year-old woman sustained severe injuries. Medics attempted resuscitation but were unable to save her,” Ivan Fedorov said.

Ivan Fedorov later shared photos of the destruction caused by the enemy shelling.
Children among the wounded
Fedorov provided more details: two children were wounded in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia.
“A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition, and a 4-year-old boy is in moderate condition,” the head of the regional military administration said.
Doctors are providing all necessary medical care.
Rescue workers operating at the scene
As Fedorov noted, the enemy dropped two guided aerial bombs on the city. One hit an infrastructure facility, the other struck a densely populated residential area. A total of 13 people were injured in the attack.
“All utility services are working at the site. The rescue operation is expected to be completed within a few hours,” he reported.
The aftermath will be assessed later.
Number of injured increases
Unfortunately, the number of people wounded in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 15. Six of them received medical assistance on the spot, while the others were taken to the hospital.
