As a result of the Russian strike on the Odesa region, a local educational institution was destroyed.
This was reported by Head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, people may be trapped under the rubble — referring to adult members of the teaching staff. No children were present at the time of the strike, as school holidays are ongoing.
“Fortunately, the children are on vacation and were not at the institution. Work is underway to eliminate the aftermath and search for victims,” Kiper said.
Rescue workers are currently at the scene, carrying out response operations and searching for any possible victims.
