The Russian occupiers use the captured nuclear power plant as a military base.

Chechen units of the Russian National Guard "Akhmat," have set up a base there.

Ukrainian National Resistance Center reports this.

According to the National Resistance Center, there are Chechen units of the Russian National Guard "Akhmat" (OMON and SOBR) at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in the occupied Enerhodar. They have set up a military base there. The "Kadyrovites" even arranged a shooting range in one of the premises.

The occupiers justify the presence of these fighters and their equipment at the station allegedly as object security. However, in reality, the equipment and Chechen units are involved in patrolling Enerhodar and in repressions against Ukrainians.
