The Office of the President expects "key decisions" from the main partners at the G7.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will participate in the G7 summit, which will take place from June 13-15 in the city of Brindisi, southern Italy.
President's Spokesman, Serhiy Nykyforov, said this on the air of the telethon on Monday, June 3.
"I cannot confirm or deny whether the President will participate in the G7 summit in person, but in any case, his participation will be there - either online or in person, that is certain," he said.
According to Nykyforov, Ukraine will raise key issues, including strengthening air defense systems and the supply of F-16 fighter jets, during the summit.
"The G7 consists of our main partners, and we will discuss key topics in our relations with both the G7 and bilateral formats. Particularly with the US, our main defense partner, we will talk about further increasing defense support, further developing the fighter jet coalition, and the steps needed to expedite the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine. We will discuss air defense, which is the most pressing issue for Ukraine now, both for the front line and peaceful cities," Zelenskyy's spokesman added.
The Office of the President, as Nykyforov says, expects "key decisions" from the main G7 partners.
