Zelenskyy: partners fear Russia losing this war

The partners want Ukraine to win the war against Russia,  but for this, necessary weapons and aid are required.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a meeting with journalists on May 16.

"I believe that our partners fear the defeat of Russia in this war. They would like Ukraine to win in such a way that Russia does not lose because it would be an unpredictable loss and unpredictable geopolitics. I believe that it does not work that way. For Ukraine to win, we need to be given everything necessary to secure victory", the President said.

It is worth noting that former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is convinced that American troops will have no choice but to fight the Russian occupiers in Europe if Vladimir Putin defeats Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russia is increasing its weapons production, leveraging mass production to outmatch Ukraine. The Kremlin is trying to expand its capabilities and develop modern weapons that could enhance the combat effectiveness of its army. It uses its advantage in the number of soldiers, as well as its ability to arm them with old but reliable weapons, and its willingness to suffer heavy losses.
