Debris clearance is ongoing at the impact sites.
As a result of the large-scale attack on Ukraine during the night of August 27, which targeted Kyiv and its region, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, and Khmelnytskyi region, people were killed and destruction occurred. Rescue operations are currently underway at the locations where the missiles and debris hit.
This was said in the address of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on August 27.
He stated that all services were involved in clearing the debris and expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
"Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, four people were killed and 16 were injured. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims," the President said.
He informed that, in total, the enemy used over 90 aerial targets against civilians and infrastructure: 81 "Shahed" drones, as well as cruise, ballistic and aeroballistic missiles.
"We will definitely respond to Russia for this and all other attacks. Crimes against humanity cannot go unpunished," Zelenskyy added.
