The Russian delegation for talks with Ukraine and the United States on February 17–18 in Geneva will be expanded, with a wider range of issues to be discussed, including territorial matters.

This was stated by Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov announced the expansion of the Russian delegation for the upcoming Geneva talks. It will include historian Vladimir Medinsky, along with Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, military intelligence chief Igor Kostyukov and others.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, Vladimir Medinsky remains head of Russia’s delegation in negotiations on Ukraine. He did not participate in the rounds in Abu Dhabi because those talks focused on security issues.

Peskov added that the Geneva talks will address a wider range of issues than the Abu Dhabi rounds, including territorial matters.
