The Ukrainian delegation in Paris conducted negotiations with representatives from the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. This was announced by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, on Telegram.
"We are working in Paris. Together with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, we discussed with colleagues from the UK, Germany, and France the ceasefire and security guarantees," he noted.
Yermak clarified that the negotiations at the Élysée Palace involved representatives from countries part of the "coalition of the willing": French President’s diplomatic advisor Emmanuel Bonne, UK Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, and German Federal Chancellor’s National Security Advisor Jens Plötner.
"We exchanged views on further steps to achieve a just and sustainable peace, including the implementation of a full ceasefire, the involvement of a multinational military contingent, and the development of an effective security architecture for Ukraine. A very substantive conversation. We continue working," the Head of the Office of the President concluded.
