Major prisoner swap: Zelenskyy shares first photos of returning heroes

Another prisoner swap between Ukraine and Russia took place today, April 24.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy released the first images.

According to him, those released include military personnel who defended Ukraine on various fronts, as well as wounded soldiers and those against whom Russia had initiated criminal proceedings.

The president stressed that the effort to bring Ukrainians back from Russian captivity continues daily. He expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the exchange process—military units on the front lines and international partners assisting in returning the prisoners home.
