An enemy UAV has struck a cultural heritage site in Velykyi Burluk.

In the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, a 19th-century architectural landmark caught fire following a strike by an enemy drone.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Flames engulfed approximately 2,000 square meters of the two-story wooden building.

"Fortunately, this time there were no casualties," rescuers wrote.
Despite the constant danger of repeated strikes, two SES units, medics, and a local community rescue officer are working at the scene.

The 19th-century architectural monument in Velykyi Burluk is the Donets-Zakharzhevsky house (also known as the Donets-Zakharzhevsky-Zadonsky Estate). It was built in the first quarter of the 19th century in the Classicist style. The estate belonged to representatives of the Donets-Zakharzhevsky-Zadonsky family.

This two-story wooden building stood on a stone foundation and featured minimalist ornamentation. The main accent of the facade was a portico with columns and a balcony.

The house was famous for its louvered shutters, presumably brought from France or Italy. The estate grounds also once included a house church and a park, which have not survived to the present day.
The house is notable for the fact that Hryhorii Skovoroda lived here in the 1780s–1790s, where he created his works.
