Enemy preparing major offensive: Military expert reveals location
Military expert Viktor Kevliuk warns that Russia may be preparing an offensive on Zaporizhzhia.

Russian forces are ramping up operations in Zaporizhzhia region and nearby areas, signaling a potential large-scale assault on the city.
Viktor Kevliuk, an expert at the Center for Defense Strategies, said this on Espreso TV.
According to him, the most critical situation is currently on the Huliaipole axis. Russian troops are trying to break through to Pokrovske and are already engaged in battles for Huliaipole.
«The enemy, holding an advantage in manpower and weaponry, has broken through the tactical defense zone along a roughly 30-kilometer front. This points to preparations for a further offensive toward Zaporizhzhia, ” Kevliuk said.
Another sign of the enemy’s plans is the increased activity of Russia’s 7th Air Assault Division in the areas of Stepnohirsk and Plavni. Russian forces are trying to reach closer approaches to the regional center and gain the ability to shell the city with artillery.
Despite this, the expert believes a large-scale assault will not happen in the coming months:
«The operation to capture Zaporizhzhia will not start before spring. The enemy will not be able to do it quickly. But Russian activity at the junction of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions indicates preparatory actions.»
