The Slavutych residential complex in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district was damaged in Russia's combined missile and drone attack on July 6. An enemy aerial weapon struck the upper floors of the premium high-rise.
The impact caused severe damage to the top four floors of the residential building, with three more floors sustaining minor damage. While the destruction remains visible from the street, workers have already cleared the surrounding area, sweeping up shattered glass and debris.

The blast wave also blew out windows in neighboring towers of the complex. Security personnel denied TSN.ua journalists access to the property but confirmed that no casualties were reported and only one tower sustained direct structural damage.

"Entering the apartments is currently unsafe as we are waiting for explosives experts to clear the damaged premises," a security guard said.

A pungent smell of smoke lingered in the building's lobby, though security noted it had begun to dissipate. Residents of the high-end complex said access to adjacent apartments remained open but declined to comment further, stating they were in bomb shelters during the strike and witnessed nothing.
The aftermath of the attack on Kyiv
Local officials from the Darnytskyi District Administration and police have set up an on-site command post to process property damage claims from residents. Given the number of residential buildings hit across Kyiv during the latest attack, the strikes indicate a deliberate Russian campaign targeting the capital's housing sector.
