Over the past three days in Florida, the Ukrainian delegation held a series of productive and constructive meetings with U.S. and European partners on further steps toward a just peace.

The details were provided by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council.

He said Ukraine was represented at the talks by himself and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov. The U.S. delegation included special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, as well as White House official Josh Gruenbaum. Key national security advisers from European countries also took part in the discussions.

Umerov said a separate U.S.–Ukraine meeting was held, with the sides concentrating on four key tracks: further work on the 20-point plan, coordination on a multilateral framework for security guarantees, preparation of a bilateral U.S. security guarantees agreement, and development of an economic plan for Ukraine’s recovery and prosperity.

«Our common priority is to stop the killing, secure guaranteed safety and create the conditions for Ukraine’s recovery, stability and long-term prosperity. Peace must be more than a halt to fighting — it must be a strong foundation for the future, ” Umerov said.

He added that Ukraine remains fully committed to achieving a just and sustainable peace and deeply appreciates the support and leadership of the United States.

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, for his part, confirmed that productive and constructive talks had been held in Florida over recent days between Ukrainian, U.S. and European representatives to align a shared strategic approach.
