Russia threatens Ukraine with "retaliatory weapons" and "new problems"
Russia’s State Duma speaker said Ukrainians would face “problems starting next week”.
Putin and Volodin
Russia’s State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin threatened the possible use of what he called “retaliatory weapons” against Ukraine.
He wrote this on Telegram.
Volodin cynically accused President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of allegedly being unwilling to implement what he described as “agreements between Putin and Trump” and warned that Ukrainians would face “new problems” starting “as early as next week”.
“Our (Russian — ed.) troops are advancing. State Duma deputies are calling for the use of more powerful weapons — "retaliatory weapons" — and on achieving the goals of the "special military operation" (Russia’s term for its war against Ukraine — ed.),” Volodin wrote.
