The Kremlin is expanding military cooperation with China. In 2025, Moscow will receive about 600 Chinese servicemen for training at its military bases and Russian Armed Forces training centers.
This was reported by Kyiv Post, citing sources in the Defence Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.
«The Kremlin has decided to provide Chinese military personnel with the opportunity to study and implement the experience gained by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine,» a source in the Defence Intelligence told Kyiv Post.
The Chinese troops will be trained in countering Western weapons. They will be prepared as tank operators, artillerymen, engineers, and air defence specialists.
Ukrainian intelligence believes this reflects Russia and China’s desire to jointly confront the West.
