The Russian occupying army has redeployed additional units to the Donetsk region from other directions.
This was revealed by Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Assault Troops Valentyn Manko, during an appearance on Radio NV.
According to him, such redeployment may indicate the approach of a decisive battle for Donbas.
At the same time, Manko notes that Ukrainian forces are completing an operation to block the enemy in the Dobropillia sector. Three «cauldrons» have been formed there, two of which are already active.
The assault troops commander adds that the operation to encircle the enemy was primarily carried out by the forces of the 33rd, 425th, and 225th regiments.
Valentyn Manko also says that there is currently no particular threat from the enemy in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
«Our combat lines, our defenses, are standing firm there, ” he stressed.
According to him, the 210th regiment is clearing Stepnohirsk of the enemy for the third time.
At the same time, Manko admits that the enemy «may slip through somewhere, ” since there are not enough troops to establish denser defenses.
