Enemy strikes Sumy region with drones: Injuries and power outages reported
Enemy drones attacked the Sumy region, injuring a gas station employee and the driver of a postal vehicle.

On the night of June 6, Russian troops targeted energy infrastructure facilities, a gas station, and a mail truck in the Sumy region. The strikes left two people injured, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
Due to the strikes on energy facilities, power outages occurred in several settlements starting last evening. Emergency crews are currently working to eliminate the consequences and restore electricity supplies.
Shortly after midnight, one of the Russian drones struck a gas station in the Trostianets community. A female employee was injured and taken to hospital. Fortunately, her life is not in danger.
Another drone attacked a postal vehicle on a highway in the Sumy district near the Sadivska community. The driver was injured and transported to hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical treatment.
"A 35-year-old woman was injured in a drone strike on the Trostyanets community. In the Sadivska community, a 48-year-old man was wounded when a drone hit a car," the statement read.
Five more people were wounded in the border communities of the Sumy region due to Russian attacks over the past day. According to the regional military administration, none of them are in critical condition.
"Sumyoblenergo" confirmed that the enemy attacks on energy infrastructure caused blackouts in parts of the Sumy region. Outage restoration work is currently underway around the clock.
The company emphasized that the blackouts were directly caused by Russian armed aggression. For security reasons, further details have not been disclosed.
