Over 40,500 customers are now without heating after Russian forces disabled the Kherson CHP. Local authorities are urgently seeking alternatives.

Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported the situation.

“Kherson’s CHP, a completely civilian facility supplying heat to residents, has been severely damaged: both the buildings and equipment were hit. The terrorists are once again targeting civilians,” Prokudin said.

Prokudin has called an urgent meeting to explore alternative heating solutions for homes supplied by the CHP. Simultaneously, he is negotiating with partners to supply residents with electric heaters and other heating equipment.

“Points of Invincibility” continue to operate across the city.
