Russian drone explodes between residential buildings in Chernihiv — photos

A Russian drone exploded between residential buildings in Chernihiv on Thursday morning, January 22, Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said on Facebook.

He also referred to another strike a day earlier, when a Russian «Geranium» drone hit a building belonging to an out-of-school educational institution in the town of Snovsk. The damage was significant, and firefighters were working at the site of the strike.

«Earlier today, from the early hours of the morning, an enemy drone exploded between residential buildings in Chernihiv. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties, ” Mr Chaus said.

He added that over the past 24 hours the region had come under 35 Russian attacks, with a total of 52 explosions recorded.
