US has “shelved” Ukraine issue: Congressional committee makes striking statement
Restoring Americans’ interest in the war in Ukraine is now important.
The United States and Ukraine
The Ukraine issue on the US agenda has lost momentum. Greater efforts are needed to revive Americans’ interest in the war in Ukraine.
Andriy Dobrianskyi, spokesman for the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, said this on Kyiv24 television.
He said the United States does not fully understand how Ukrainian society has changed, and delegations continue working to remind Americans about the war.
“Americans know about it, but thinking about it daily is a different matter. We need to engage them with compelling facts — like football or other major news — because after four years it is not easy to make Americans interested in Ukraine again,” Dobrianskyi explained.
