Zelenskyy ready to meet Putin: Names main condition

President Zelenskyy said he is ready to meet Putin, but there is a condition regarding the location.

Zelenskyy said this in an interview with RAI.

«I am ready to meet Putin. Of course, not in Moscow and not in Kyiv. But if he is ready to meet me, there are many places. We can find a place in the Middle East, Europe, the United States, anywhere,» Zelenskyy said.

The President added he cannot discuss handing over Donbas. The key risk is a split in society, which is a favorable scenario for Russia.

«If we leave Donbas to the Russians, they will occupy our best-protected places without losses. Building new fortifications could take a year or a year and a half. They could attack Kharkiv and other cities that contribute greatly to our GDP. And there will be a split in society. Any split is Putin’s key goal and the destruction of our independence,» Zelenskyy stressed.
