Zelenskyy shares U.S. unconditional ceasefire proposal

Zelenskyy emphasizes that in response to the proposal for a ceasefire, Russia is attacking Ukraine daily.

Russian dictator Putin "does not care" about diplomacy; he has no intention of stopping the war, as evidenced by the recent brutal attacks on Ukrainian cities with "Shaheds".

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his traditional video address on the evening of March 30.

He reminded that as a result of yesterday's strike on Kharkiv, one of the Russian "Shaheds" even damaged a hospital building. Ordinary houses and civilian infrastructure were also damaged.

"In total, in that attack on Kharkiv, 55 people were injured, including five children, all of whom received medical assistance. Unfortunately, two people perished," the Head of State reported.

Additionally, within one day, Cherkasy region was struck by drones. Kherson region suffers from artillery fire and drone drops on regular buildings and people.

"Donetsk region — guided aerial bombs, drones, artillery. Zaporizhzhia — drones. Dnipropetrovsk region — guided aerial bombs and drones. Sumy region — also, unfortunately, aerial bombs and drones. Kharkiv region — strikes from guided aerial bombs," the President listed.

Zelenskyy emphasizes that the geography and brutality of Russian strikes every day and night show how little Putin cares about diplomacy.

"We have had the American proposal for an unconditional ceasefire for several weeks now. And every day, in response to this proposal — Russian drones, Russian bombs, artillery shelling, and ballistic missiles. Russia deserves increased pressure — all the harsh steps that could break Russia's ability to fight and sustain this system, which wants nothing but war. Sanctions against Russia are necessary. More air defense for Ukraine is needed. More cooperation and unity between all partners is needed... We rely on the United States, Europe, and all our other partners, who truly want peace and guaranteed security, to implement all the necessary tools. The success of diplomacy is needed by everyone except Putin. Therefore, we must pressure him for the success of diplomacy and the preservation of human lives," Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
