A new drone tested by the the Russians during an attack on Odesa: What is known
An expert believes that the Russians have begun testing their product under the most challenging conditions.

On the morning of May 23, Russian forces attacked Odesa with strike drones. This attack had distinct features. The occupiers used a drone that had not previously been detected by Ukrainian air defense forces. This was reported by Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst from "Information Resistance."
“It differed in its aerodynamic design, similar to the Shahed-136’s "flying wing," and visually resembled the "Lancet" loitering munition, but was larger in size,” the expert explained.
According to him, it is highly likely that this was an enlarged version of the "Scalpel" or "Lancet-3" loitering munition, but “something larger in size and more powerful.”
Kovalenko also noted that it was unusual for the Russians to carry out the attack during daylight hours, “when visual target acquisition is much simpler and interception is more effective.” However, the occupiers did this deliberately.
The use of these weapons alongside Shahed-136 drones, particularly during daylight, suggests that the Russians have begun testing their product under the most challenging conditions.
“We don’t yet know its exact name, but it reaches Odesa and deeper into the region. It was also capable of entering our airspace at an altitude of 200 meters,” Kovalenko concluded.
