Attacks on Ukraine: Defence Intelligence assesses Russian missile production and names key strike targets

Russia has long set up production of Kh-101, Kalibr and Kinzhal missiles.

Its defense industry is churning them out — and firing them as fast as they roll off the line.

Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, told this in an interview with Suspilne.

“Yes, they have production. But the fact is, everything they make is immediately used. We’ve seen it with Kh-101 cruise missiles. We’ve seen it with Kalibrs. We see it with Kinzhals,” Skibitskyi said.

Intelligence notes that Russia is trying to create its own missile navigation system. However, the enemy has certain problems with it.

“What they are trying to make is not always perfect. That is why cruise missiles hit our civilian homes,” Skibitskyi added.

Skibitskyi says that overall, the targets of Russia’s massive combined strikes on Ukraine have not changed:

1. air defense assets;

2. aircraft, including airfields;

3. the command system of the Armed Forces and all our military formations;

4. the logistics system;

5. the defense industry complex.
