Key Chinese component found in Russian Shaheds: Implications for Ukraine

The enemy no longer holds large drone stockpiles: new Shaheds are coming straight off the production line.

Ukrainian specialists discovered a Chinese-made component in a Shahed kamikaze drone downed over Ukraine. This finding indicates that Iran is manufacturing and shipping drones to Russia almost immediately after assembly.

This was reported by Serhii "Flash," an expert in military radio technologies.

According to him, the Chinese-made component was installed on the drone on October 8, and by October 15, Ukrainian forces had shot down that very Shahed. This proves that only a few days pass between production and deployment.

The expert noted that such rapid delivery suggests Russia no longer has significant reserves of Iranian drones. New Shaheds are being deployed directly for attacks on Ukrainian cities.

The use of Chinese components in the drones may point to expanding technical cooperation between Iran and China. Ukrainian experts emphasize that such collaboration complicates tracking supply chains and could pose a serious challenge to Western sanctions policies.
