No funds: Moscow cuts spending on occupied Ukrainian territories

Occupation administrations have received a signal from the Kremlin about reduced financial support.

Russia cuts funding for the occupied territories

Delegations from the occupation administrations traveled to Moscow, where they were briefed on problems in the Russian economy.

This was reported by the National Resistance Center.

“At the Moscow Economic Forum, under propagandistic slogans, collaborators were told that in the coming years funding for the regions will be cut,” the statement said.

The Kremlin is dissatisfied that the occupation administrations have failed to launch a “market economy” in the seized territories and remain entirely dependent on Russian money.

This means that in the near future social programs, infrastructure projects and salaries for local workers in the occupied areas will be reduced.
