Podolyak outlined the key tasks facing Ukraine on the frontline

The primary task is the destruction of Russia's tactical aviation, Podolyak believes.

Ukrainian defenders continue to strike Russian military targets, including airfields, significantly reducing the enemy's combat capabilities.

This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on the air of "24 Kanal."

According to him, there are two key tasks that Ukraine must focus on today. The first priority is the destruction of Russia's tactical aviation, which the Russian Armed Forces use to launch aerial bombs that have affected the frontline.

All this must be destroyed, the Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Office believes. And both well-planned Ukrainian operations, following the example of Kursk region, and long-range drone strikes help in this.

"It is equally important to destroy strategic aviation. This will significantly reduce the pressure on the energy infrastructure and the civilian population, among other things. Specifically, we are talking about the destruction of strategic aviation and the airfields where it is based. Restoring aircraft like the Tu-95, Tu-160 and Tu-22 is impossible because Russia is under a certain sanctions regime. It will not be able to restore these systems," Podolyak said.
