Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and “Shaheds”: where did the explosions and hits occur

On the night of September 8, the Russians once again attacked the peaceful cities of Ukraine. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that there was a threat to Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, because the enemy launched Iranian-made “Shahed” kamikaze drones in their direction.
Preliminarily, most of the UAVs were successfully intercepted in the sky. In the Ukrainian Armed Forces' summary, it was noted that hostile objects were launched in a quantity of 20 from the southeast and south directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Cape Chauda - occupied Crimea).
"Anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were used to repulse the attack. As a result of the combat operations, 16 “Shahed-136/131” drones were destroyed within Odesa and Mykolaiv regions," as stated in the announcement.
Explosions in Sumy
In Sumy, three people were injured during the missile attack. They were rescued from under the rubble.
This information was reported by rescue teams.
According to preliminary information, a two-story residential building was destroyed, over 20 homes and 8 cars were damaged. The fire has already been extinguished.
Shelling of Zaporizhzhia
In the morning, the Russians also targeted a civilian infrastructure object in Zaporizhzhia with several ballistic missiles. At least one victim is known.

Dnipropetrovsk region
In the middle of the night, the enemy struck the Pokrovsk rural community in the Nikopol district. The Russian Armed Forces shelled it with heavy artillery.
"A transport enterprise has been damaged. There are no killed or injuried. In other areas of Dnipropetrovsk region, it was calm. There were no shelling incidents," Head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak stated.
Morning shelling of Kryvyi Rih
In Kryvyi Rih, on the morning of September 8, a Russian missile hit a police administrative building.
This information was reported by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
One person killed and 40 injured. Three people were rescued from under the rubble. Garages caught fire, and the flames spread across an area of 200 square meters. Further details are being clarified.
