On the night of August 1, the Russian army launched a missile strike on a railway station in Kharkiv region, injuring a conductor.
The press service of "Ukrzaliznytsia" informs about this.
"The enemy continues to attack railway infrastructure. Last night, a missile strike hit a railway station in Kharkiv region. A conductor sustained shrapnel injuries to the head in the attack. She received first aid but declined hospitalization," the report said.
Fortunately, there were no casualties this time.
The company adds that two locomotives, as well as freight and passenger cars, were damaged. Additionally, there was damage to the tracks and electrical supply systems.
"Minor changes have been made to the suburban train schedules, while long-distance trains continue to operate using reserve locomotives," they clarified.
