In the Siversk direction in Donetsk region, units of the Russian occupying army are actively using munitions containing poisonous substances against Ukrainian defenders.

This was reported by the “Rubizh” Rapid Response Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The statement says that the use of chemical weapons has been ongoing for the third week.

“These munitions are characterized by the extremely rapid spread of the toxic substance, which instantly disperses through dugouts and low-lying areas,” the National Guard’s “Rubizh” Brigade reports.

The report notes the enemy's increased activity, employing motorcycle units and civilian vehicles in assault operations, as well as escalating artillery shelling of Ukrainian defenders' positions to 200 attacks per day.

Intelligence has detected enemy reserves in the operational rear, consisting of up to two full companies (up to 250 personnel), prepared for an offensive.
