Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov refuted claims that Kyiv allegedly prioritizes security issues over the return of its territories.
He stresses that the restoration of territorial integrity remains Ukraine’s goal.
“Territorial integrity is part of our values,” the minister stated.He described assertions about a shift in Ukraine’s war priorities as “false and part of Russian propaganda efforts.”
“Our priority remains the same: protecting our people, defending the nation, and liberating those who have endured almost 10 years of temporary occupation. Crimea and Donbas are part of Ukraine,” he added.
